White People of Our World
People don't come in white, black, red, or yellow nor purple or green. Skin shade is only a matter of the amount of melanin in your skin - all people are brown from light brown to dark brown. Skin colour is not a good method of grouping people - all the wonderful cultures in the world are not decided by skin tone, it is decided by environment and ingenuity of indigenous peoples or people who were once indigenous somewhere. That is how we should know each other - with respect for each of our cultures.

But the advertisements we are bombarded with tells us we need more.... and more..... and more
If we try to get all that more

Salmon Cycle
Traditionally, we catch the winter salmon after they spawn; hang them up to dry and return their bones in a down ceremony. We believe that this way, the salmon will return.
Fisheries told us it wasn't sportsmanlike to gather the winter salmon after they spawn, we are supposed to catch them before they spawn - in the ocean.
Don't they realize that breaks the cycle? Don't they realize that the salmon will not return some day
